Tyler was pretty excited today. He used the truck, named Rumbles II in honor of our ever faithful Bravada, to haul a bunch of stuff to the dump. The load included 9 semi-tires on the rim, an old air conditioner, an old de-humidifier and all of our recyclables.

The dump fee for the load was $153. At $15 each, the semi tires were responsible for driving the price up. Based on previous trips to the dump, we had only been expecting to pay $2/tire. Tyler and I were rather surprised. The only thing we could figure out that explains the difference in price is that nobody figured we would have a semi-truck tire in the back end of an Oldsmobile Bravada. Considering how many semi-truck tires we had disposed of at $2/each, we figured we're still getting a good price. :-)
