Tyler and I heard today that underwriting had approved our renovation loan. So, that's one hurdle cleared. Now we just have to work with the appraiser and hope that the appraisal comes back high enough to cover the costs of the loan. Since the insurance agent calculated the replacement cost of just our home after renovation at almost $125,000 over what the previous appraiser said the entire property was worth, we're not as worried about this hurdle. But, we're still not letting our breathe out just yet.
