Cellulose insulation has to be, without a doubt, the most disgusting part of demolition. Pulling down the ceiling and having that stuff fall on you is a very icky feeling.

Tyler's dad, Tom, actually had a pretty cool trick that helped with this part of the demolition. He brought over a garden hoe and used it to pull down the plaster and lath. The job was still icky. But, this at least allowed you to stand back and watch as most of the cellulose fell in front of you rather than on you.
