I spoke with Kim at Valocity today regarding our appraisal. She said that an appraiser in our area has been assigned and his name is:

Their system shows that he has accepted the appraisal and that he says he'll have it completed by next Wednesday, 10/11/2006.

That means that our loan application will most likely be submitted to underwriting no earlier than 10/11/2006. And, since it takes 24-48 hours to get a response from underwriting, we won't hear back from underwriting till either 10/12/2006 or 10/13/2006.

My bet is on the 13th since that is a Friday. And, with our luck we'll hear back that they are not allowed to give loans to married individuals with the names Tyler and Katherine.
