The walls have finally started to go up. While we are awaiting the processing of our latest construction loan application, we started doing some framing to test our blueprint to make sure its going to work. In my gimpy state, I'm not much help to Tyler. So, Bob came to the rescue.

It all started when Tyler and I stopped up to see Leah and Bob on Saturday to drop off some movies they loaned us after my surgery. We meant for the visit to be short. But, Leah and Bob offered us an awesome lunch of ribs and mashed potates and we just couldn't say 'no'. While we were there, Tyler and Bob got to talking. Tyler mentioned something to me that he and Bob were going to go and work on something. The next thing Leah and I knew, the "mans" were gone. Since the truck with the lumber - that Tyler and I had just picked up that morning - was gone, Leah and I assumed that they had gone down to do some framing.

Long story short, Tyler and Bob spent all Saturday working on framing the upstairs. Then, Bob came back on Sunday to continue his assistance. He and Tyler put up

• the south wall of the master bedroom.
• the north wall of one of the shared bedrooms.
• the wall between the shared bedrooms.
• the joists over the opening for the spiral staircase.

So, a BIG-BIG thanks out to Bob!
