My parents came down for a visit today. They brought lots of goodies - two birthday cakes and a couple loaves of cinnamon bread. Apparently, the bakery messed up there "half-chocolate and "half-vanilla" cake and gave them two cakes instead.

While they were down they got to check out all of our toys. They got to see the lawn mower and we took a trip into town for lunch in the truck. We also took them for a tour of the house to show them all of the changes since their last visit.

My dad was also brave enough to test out my fencer for me. He deemed it to have "no snap." And, recommended I take it back because he thought it was broken. Then, we got into a nice long conversation about how things aren't built like they use to be anymore. So, he's going to keep an eye out for me and see if he can find me one of those good old "knock-um on their butt" fencers for $0.25 at the next auction he goes to.
