After getting our electrical permit on Tuesday, Tyler and I kicked it into high gear. We spent Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on the electrical work. Just to make sure we'd get done, Tyler and I called on Wednesday and scheduled the inspection for 10:30 Thursday morning... yup, yet another sign that we're INSANE! But, the plan worked.

Tyler and I stayed up till 2:00 am on Thursday morning working on the electrical. We only went to bed then because we ran out of 14-2 wire. At 6:00 the next morning, we got up and headed out to get more cable. By 8:00am we were back at work. Tyler and I were stapling up the last romex cable - that happened to be just long enough to finish the last circuit - just as the inspector pulled into the yard.

The inspection went pretty well with only a few requests from the inspector. But, since all of the requests involved interior walls, he conditionally signed off on the electrical work so Tyler and I could get insulation in the exterior walls.
