Plumbing has been Started!

It's finally here... the DWV! For those of you non-plumbing types, DWV stands for drain waste vent. And, this handy contraption is what allows the poo to flow South while the stink heads North. The following pictures show the main vent stack before we started work and after we finished for the weekend. We still need to add the tub and toilet for the guest bathroom to the vent stack.

The work on the plumbing required some creativity on Tyler's part. Here are a couple of shots of the masterpieces Tyler constructed to route the plumbing to all the right places with the least amount of impact on the floor plan.




This masterpiece is what allows all the vents to tie into the main vent stack.
This masterpiece ensures that the water in the p-trap for the guest bathroom sink isn't siphoned out by the drain for the washer.
