Several people like to tease Tyler and I about going out to eat a lot. Some assume it's because we can't cook. Others assume that we're just enjoying the affluence of our DINK (Dual Income No Kinds) status. But, these people obviously haven't tried to cook in a renovation zone.

Following the demolition of all remaining walls on the first floor, my stovetop looked like this...

So, after spending all day demolishing the first floor I had to clean up the kitchen before making dinner. Normally Tyler and I would have opted to go out for dinner - but the slick roads caused by the season's first snow fall encouraged me to find the extra energy to tidy up the kitchen and throw on a skillet meal.
