Tyler and I put up our first Christmas tree in our house. Last year, we didn't put up any Christmas decorations because we were just too busy trying to get the house renovations back on track after being laid up for so many months after the accident. Even though we still didn't have any room to put up a "real" Christmas tree this year, I wasn't about to let another year go by without any Christmas decorations in the house. So, Tyler and I went shopping...

We ended up going to Lowe's and purchasing a potted Norwalk Pine. First, it is a nice small potted plant that has pine needles like a pine tree. Second, it looks just like the potted plant that my mom gave me which has been mysteriously missing during her last few visits - I think it was scared away by the kitties using it as their lavatory. With a few lights and ribbon, it ended up looking like quite the festive little tree. Tyler and I fell asleep to the twinkling lights.

With the tree in place, Shiro is wondering when the presents might start arriving.
