Well, Tyler decided that it was time to say "Goodbye" to the old stairs. He started working on demolishing what was left of the old stairs that went to the second floor. What did he find during demolition this time? Well, for one thing there wasn't any insulation in the exterior wall next to the stairs. It looks like one of the previous owners tried to use pieces of broken plaster to fill up the cavity. We're not sure if they thought the plaster would act as insulation, but plaster has a very low insulative rating. In addition, all of that plaster was HEAVY! Tyler probably hauled out at least 100lbs of plaster out of the wall cavity.
