Yes, We Really Are Snowed In!

Due to the number of times Tyler and I have called into work, our co-workers are starting to think we're either whimps when it comes to winter weather or we're trying to find excuses to stay at home from some extracurricular activities. Well, to prove to everyone that we really are snowed in, Tyler and I decided to take pictures of the snow drifts. I stood in the photos for a reference point. The snow drifts were so hard, I could actually walk on top of them. I stood on top of one of the smaller drifts closer to the house and then next to it where a patch of the road was still visible. You can see the difference.  (Just in case you're wondering, the above photo is actually two photos superimposed over each other.)

On the way down to the drifts, I snapped the following pictures of a rainbow being caused by ice crystals in the air.

I dislike this photo because it means that I can not harrass my cube mate about being home for other reasons. I am now going to claim that as the photo was "superimposed" it therefor was doctored and invalid. So try again, I know that you can do better then that.
