Milestone Reached - No More Gray Water!

Tyler and I reached a major milestone on the house renovation today.  We are completely off the gray water system!  For those of you who don't know about this, the gray water system is the original way the water from everything but the toilet in our house found its way out to the ditch in front of our house. You can read about all the fun we've had with it in our post about Tyler's Pool.

After the rain canceled our plans to side the house, Tyler and I decided to finish the upstairs laundry room floor. This had been the only thing standing between us and getting our washer and dryer upstairs. We rented a random orbital sander from Home Depot since the room was too small for a drum and edge sander. The random orbital sander worked great!

Once the floor was sanded and sealed, we moved the washer and dryer upstairs. No more having to suffer through clogs in the gray water system!
