Evan returned for his second phase of training with Sarah Hauschild at the beginning of the month. During the first week, Sarah worked with Evan to give him a refresher on all the basics he learned during his first session with her. By the second week, Sarah started riding Evan. The sessions began with Sarah working Evan on the lounge line. Once he was responsive - and worn out a little - Sarah had me take her spot lounging Evan while she climbed aboard. Before the end of the month, Sarah was riding Evan all over the arena. It was a happy day when Sarah started riding Evan off the lounge line. First, I didn't have to try and "keep up" anymore while they practiced walk-trot transitions. Second, I could finally snap some pictures.
